The newly patented Secure Lock nipple of Sapim is a locking mechanism that prevents nipples from untightening.

Sapim CX-Ray Sapim CX-Super CN Ti-Duo Aero spokes not only give an aerodynamic edge, they also make wheels lighter and stronger. Forging the spoke in one go in elliptical dies give much better aerodynamic characteristics than just flat spokes. The forging process brings additional tensile strength into the spoke. Aero spokes are produced from the best suited stainless steel and titanium.

No Spoke Contact The spokes retain their perfect, natural line from the hub to the rim. The spoke is not distorted by the second spoke through contact. The VYTYV carbon rims are so rigid and durable that VYTYV specialists have come to the conclusion that the natural behavior of the spokes is more important. Stiffness is at the highest level, in addition, the asymmetrical construction of the rim allows to achieve a similar spoke tension on both sides of the wheel making it perfect!

Removing the hook we could produce a rim and tyre combination that performed better that rims with hook beads. The tyre shape that results is more stable and gives the rider a wheel that corners better and will not burp.

Our SL, XC and ROAD Disc wheelsets base on the asymmetric rim construction. The spoke tension on both sides are similar. Asymmetric rims with offset spoke holes allow for better triangulation of spoke angles and balance of tensions in a wheel build, resulting in a stronger, stiffer (laterally due to proportionately more lateral tension), more compliant (radially due to proportionately less radial tension), and more reliable wheel. To keep the best line between the hub and the rim, VYTYV's engineers introduced internal nipples. The main advantages are aerodynamics and the nipple does not skew the spokes.

T800 carbon is stronger and lighter and 11% stronger than T700 in terms of tensile strength. T800 is also slightly stronger than T700 in terms of compressive strength too. It delivers a swifter return response reaction. T800 fiber absorbs resin differently which make it superior in terms of weight reduction, reactivity and outright strength.
